Time Left — a free stop-smoking app

The short version. Everything you type into Time Left stays in your own browser. We have no server, no account, and no database. We never see your age, your smoking history, or anything else you enter.
Time Left keeps your entries — age, the age you started smoking, cigarettes per day, pack price, currency, country, your last-cigarette time, your daily taps and your streak — in your device's localStorage. That is a storage area belonging to your browser on your device.
There is no sign-up, no login, no email address and no analytics account tied to you. We do not ask for your name, contact details or location, and we do not use the device geolocation API. The app guesses your country from your browser's language and time-zone settings only, purely to pick a sensible default currency and cigarette price. That guess never leaves your device.
Time Left is free and is paid for by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads.
Advertisers never receive what you enter. Your age, smoking history, streak and money figures are not passed to Google or to any ad network. They are not used for targeting.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent choice before personalised advertising cookies are set, and you can change that choice at any time. If you decline, you will still see ads — they simply will not be personalised.
Time Left is rated for ages 15 and over because it contains graphic medical images. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, of any age — see section 1.
The app installs a service worker so it keeps working without a connection. That cache holds only the app's own files — the page, its icons and its videos. It holds none of your entries.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.

나이, 흡연 시작 나이, 하루 흡연량, 담뱃값, 통화, 국가, 마지막 담배 시각, 매일의 기록과 연속 일수는 기기 브라우저의 localStorage에 저장됩니다.
가입도 로그인도 이메일도 없습니다. 이름·연락처·위치를 요구하지 않으며 기기 위치정보(Geolocation) API도 쓰지 않습니다. 브라우저의 언어와 표준시 설정만 보고 국가를 추정하는데, 이는 통화와 담뱃값 기본값을 맞추기 위한 용도이며 그 추정값도 기기 밖으로 나가지 않습니다.
이 앱은 무료이며 광고로 운영됩니다. 구글 애드센스를 사용합니다.
입력하신 내용은 광고주에게 넘어가지 않습니다. 나이·흡연 이력·연속 일수·금액은 구글이나 어떤 광고 네트워크에도 전달되지 않으며 타게팅에 쓰이지 않습니다.
유럽경제지역·영국·스위스에 계신 경우, 맞춤 광고 쿠키가 설정되기 전에 동의 여부를 묻는 창이 표시되며 언제든 변경할 수 있습니다. 거부하셔도 광고는 계속 표시되며, 다만 맞춤형이 아닐 뿐입니다.
이 앱은 수술 장면 등 충격적인 의학 이미지가 포함되어 15세 이상 이용가입니다. 연령과 무관하게 누구의 데이터도 수집하지 않습니다(1항 참조).
연결 없이도 쓰이도록 서비스워커를 설치합니다. 이 캐시에는 앱 자체 파일(페이지·아이콘·영상)만 담기며, 입력하신 기록은 담기지 않습니다.
방침이 바뀌면 상단 날짜도 함께 바뀝니다.
